Ed brings over 35 years of testing and inspection experience to his role as Principal / Executive Vice President, overseeing construction projects and technical personnel for ISI. He is ICBO-certified for Structural Steel Welding, Reinforced Concrete, Plumbing, and Mechanical. Ed’s other certifications include ASNT, AWS/CWI, OSHPD, and DSA/ORS. Ed managed ISI’s inspection activities at the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge Replacement of the superstructure, SFIA’s International Terminal and the SFIA BART/ART station. Combined, these projects exceed $2 billion in construction costs. His article describing the Automated Ultrasonic Testing system employed at the SFIA International Terminal was published by American Welding Society’s Inspection Trends magazine.
